The Industrialist Hotel Brooklyn

"The Industrialist was my home away from home this month and since I was there for over 2 weeks, I can tell you it was absolutely perfect! It exceeded my expectations and I've stayed everywhere from St Regis to Ace Hotel so I'm pretty picky. I was in N.Y. for work so I didn't have a luxury hotel budget but The Industrialist was everything I needed. The rooms are not big and there's no room service, but my room was comfy, clean and quiet. I needed to be in Brooklyn for my work project so I was actually in the room a lot working on my computer. The front desk staff was so wonderful and helpful. Whether it was a package I was waiting for, or directions I needed, someone was always there (often 2 people) and quick to help with whatever I needed. The cleaning team was very professional and did a fabulous job every day. Also the location is great. At night I'd walk places around hotel and always felt totally safe. Train to Manhattan conveniently just steps away, Beanmonger's coffee directly across the street or walk down Union toward 5th and get anything you want from sushi to pizza to shopping. I will definitely come back and tell friends."

"Located in a good area with a lot of convenience stores and food spots close by. About 20 minutes from Barclays Center. We were on the 4th floor the biggest room on that floor is 408 (just a tip) Small room, tight space between bed and counter. Had to move refrigerator down just to have the space to open it. Microwave is located in lobby. There's a parking lot outback with only 7 spots. There is also underground parking but must ask about it. Overall it's a pretty decent spot nothing fancy. The cleaning crew needs to do better as somehow they missed a used item that was left on the floor between the end table and bed from the previous people that stayed in the room before us. Other than that decent price, good area, again small room, with lackluster cleaning crew."

"Rooms are small for 2 people but they are clean. Breakfast was a decent continental. But there's no sit-down lobby. It is located around lots of fast food, delivery, stores, and many other restaurants, stores, and shopping. It's walking distance from a large botanical garden, zoo, and park where many people walk and bike."

"I loved that they provided a fabric steamer with the hair dryer in the room! Very convenient. Lobby bartenders were very knowledgeable and kind, made me feel special when I was feeling a bit low. Overall it is the only hotel I will stay in from now on in NYC."
Sheraton Brooklyn New York Hotel

"My only issue with this stay was you all promote and advertise your restaurant in house, along with rooftop restaurant. Rooftop was closed. Downstairs restaurant is FAR from a restaurant. It’s a dark, gloomy, blank space. Anytime I asked your front desk if the restaurant was OPEN, they would say yes and to walk on in. I’d walk in and it was closed. No chefs. No food. No lights. Multiple times the front desk told me they were open but after meeting the “restaurant manager” he said they actually have had a chef in awhile and only have drinks. There was a PRIVATE event happening one night in the space and I asked the front desk if there was a private event happening and they said “no, they are open” and I walked right into the middle of a fashion show. Embarrassing. Otherwise, stay was great. Whole Situation with your “restaurants” was very bizarre and i Booked here especially because you all had a restaurant so was super disappointing. Great location, staff were super friendly and everything was always clean!"
