“This old coaching inn has been well revamped, service is first class. The food was excellent with good response to individual needs. Although pricey the rooms were up to a high standard. The roll top bath, with no screen, was a triumph of design over functionality. There was nowhere to put the soap! Having a shower without flooding the floor was tricky. “I arrived later than should for check in due to delays but was still able to book in. The room was very clean with a lovely big comfortable double bed.
