Anastasia Island, St. Augustine hotel rooms at the Patton Hospitality Management

"It’s a wonderful location, being right on the beach; a short boardwalk and you’re there; there is also a pool however a cold front came through and sadly missed out on the beach / pool fun but the pictures represent well The hotel property itself is quite aged; it really needs a lot of updating; our room was quite spacious and we had a balcony with beach view if you looked hard to the right; it was just the two of us so we could spread out pretty easily and that was nice; the beds and pillows were very comfortable-in fact, we slept very well; the room darkening shades probably helped; the showerhead was fabulous! It’s a tub shower, but the water pressure was incredible! The restaurant in the lobby is quite good as noted by many other reviewers The lobby, staff, restaurant staff and really anybody that you talk to in the hotel were all very kind and helpful The laundry area was very convenient; it was very clean and the washer and dryers are free for use, but you need to bring detergent or money to pay for their machine dispensed detergent. It is far from the historic downtown so you can’t walk there; but it’s not too bad of a drive either. Maybe 7 miles???? There are several other restaurants just outside of the hotel, however that are within walking distance; if you like ice cream, you have to go to Mayday, which is near the hotel; there is also a mini golf and quite a few beach restaurants with live music. (a guy and a guitar type thing.)"

"Just OK. Very, very hard beds, minimal drawers for clothing, no towel rack space in bathroom. Other than location, we would not stay again."

"We loved this property. Location very nice, staff friendly and engaged. Wonderful breakfast and a very nice happy hour perk. There are 2 doors front and back. back door opens to a nice deck with a great view of St augustine and the water. So why not 5 star review? The floor in our room was filthy. We had white socks and when we took our socks off the first night the bottoms were black. No exaggeration they were black. we threw them out. This is a wood or vinyl floor not a carpet so a simple mop would have cleaned up."

"The hotel was adequate. The Breakfast Buffet was awful for being a quality hotel. So disappointing 🙁. Site states indoor pool? No such thing 🙁. Sorry walk to ocean? Not!"

"Everything was good except breakfast selections not as good as typical Hampton offerings. Breakfast staff was very friendly. Front desk staff was friendly. Rate paid was significantly higher than Expedia said it would be, seemingly more than the extra $15 per day for parking."
