“This house felt like a real home, was so well equipped, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had everything we needed provided for us, and there was even a bottle of milk in the fridge waiting for us. The beds are really comfortable, as are the sofas, and the bathroom and kitchen are fab! We’re definitely coming back!”

“My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

“The location was good, but other than that, I wondered if it deserves 4-stars hotel. I booked King-size bed, but the bed I got was just putting two single beds together(I requested changing room, but got the answer that other rooms had been already full). The worst thing was that the cleaner opened the door and waked me up at 8:30AM. ”

“Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. There was water in the mini fridge and a Nespresso machine for coffee. I would highly recommend the Housekeeping Team, they do an amazing job. We have been staying at Formby Hall for 20 years or so and the one thing that has let it down has been the food quality and breakfast service, so this stay we were very pleased to see the improvements made to the whole breakfast experience.
