"THE STAFF WAS INCREDIBLE-- FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED IN THE DOOR UNTIL OUR DEPARTURE, THEY WERE POLITE AND ACCOMODATING, EVEN TO THE POINT OF WALKING WITH US WHEN WE WERE UNSURE OF THE LOCATION OF VAIROUS FACILITIES. THE BUILDING IS UNDER RENOVATION, SO THERE WERE CERTAIN AREAS THAT WERE A BIT WORN, BUT ONCE THESE PHYSICAL IMPROVEMENTS IMPROVE THIS COULD BE A FIVE-STAR HOTEL. JUST BE SURE TO KEEP THE AMAZING STAFF-- I'VE TRAVELED THE WORLD AND HAVE FOUND THESE PEOPLE ARE TRULY OUTSTANDING."

"Impeccable service throughout our stay. The staff was very helpful and were able to communicate in English. We booked a high floor lounge access room, which I recommend. The lounge serves an excellent included buffet breakfast with made to order items. There is also an included afternoon tea and happy hour with heavy hors d’oeuvres that could substitute for dinner. The room was well appointed and spacious with a balcony and jetted tub (perfect after long days of walking). I would stay again. Thank you to the Prince staff for an amazing stay!!"

"The cleanest of rooms, tasteful decoration, water/ice machine on each floor, coin laundry available as well as laundry service, but the best of all: the breakfast!! All western options as well as japanese variety. High quality ingredients, wonderful coffee. I'll never forget this breakfast."

"The hotel is beautiful and our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fantastic with so many options. Our only complaint was the incredibly slow service in the hotel lounge. It was not busy at all and we waited over 15 minutes to be served. Once we ordered it was another long wait for our drinks. We went back 2 days later and the service was just as slow and horrible so we left. We absolutely loved everything about the hotel and staff with the exception of the painfully slow service in the lounge."

"Location was excellent. I would stay again just for that. 20mins by train from Haneda and JR line is right there makes for convenient travel. We made use of the Laundry facilities it was reasonable for hotel facilities and they had lots of machines. We had a corner room on the main tower. Rooms were clean and relatively large for Japanese standard. We manage to find room for 1 large and 1 medium luggage. The rooms are dated as per most reviews have stated. There are some stains in the hallway carpet. And I noticed a patch to fix damaged carpet in our room also. This does not bother us. We opted out the breakfast. We just visited the 7-11 on the second floor for breakfast everyday. Staff was helpful at check in and when I wanted to send an Amazon order to our room. They helped me filled out the delivery address. Pick up was also easy. Overall I recommend the Shinagawa Prince hotel. Yes it is dated and need some renovations but if you are not picky about your room not being in the latest trendy style and just need a clean room and convenience this hotel is for you."
