“The room was very dainted could do with a reverb in the bedrooms stayed on the hottest weekend in June and all we had was a old small fan in the room Bathroom could do with a very deep clean. Pub itself was nice. Stuff behind the bar were very friendly. Landlord was grumpy and chose to see it with both their big air-condition fans facing himself.”

“The staff at the Old Mill are really friendly and helpful. The Italian restaurant is pleasant with a nice outlook next to the canal and the food is nice. The breakfast is basic continental but perfectly adequate. The location is good only a 10 minute walk to the canal that takes you all the way in to the centre of Bath and is a lovely walk. Our room at the Old Mill was perfectly fit for purpose however is in need of some decoration. It could have been cleaner, we found cobwebs over the bedside...

“Extremely friendly and courteous staff, in particular the lady who checked us in and the breakfast team. The hotel is being systematically renovated and the public areas are of a high standard. Our room was clean and well maintained and whilst the bathroom was clean and functional it would have benefited from being renovated. That said, there was nothing seriously wrong with it. “Really lovely place. Very quiet and peaceful. A bit off the beaten track but still only half an hour away from Bristol. Really comfortable bed, and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. I wouldn’t say this if it wasn’t true! Only one minor point is that the shower head was a bit too low for me, as I’m around 6’ tall.”

“Lovely location and our room was very spacious with a fab view. Only not a 10/10 due to the shower. Looked great but no power just a fine spray. Couldnt wash my curly hair.”
