“Room was clean, staff were very helpful, breakfast a great choice but warm except for the beans which was good, the bar was great very accommodating staff.”

“Comfortable room and bed. Room showing signs of age but clean and well maintained. A portable aircon unit and separate fan were provided (the aircon had a timer facility) and these were necessary and welcome. Decent size kettle in room compared to certain chains. Slowest lift in the known universe, but once you find your way round the stairs that’s fine. Definitely a cut above other properties nearby.”

“Friendly helpful staff in all departments, a great stay overall”

“John and Luke were excellent hosts, friendly helpful informative and fun. Our downstairs front Room 102 Amelia had a king-size bed very comfy, also good quality furniture with all needs catered for. Tastefully decoated and thought out. Bathroom was small but beautifully designed and the shower was really good. Plenty of tea and coffee, room service is your option as they prefer not to disturb. So thete is a place to leave notes of what you need. The front door was banged by guests late at night...

“Nice hotel. Just what you would expect really. Very grateful for view of pleasure beach. This made my daughter’s holiday very special. Let down a bit by reception staff. Young girl very miserable & didn’t seem to be enjoying her job at all. There was also a terrible smell from our bathroom the whole time. Poss drain problem? Cleaners on the other hand were wonderfully courteous & welcoming. Overall a good stay & would stay again.”
