Staff was wonderful, the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was very good. You do hear a bit of traffic noise, otherwise a great little hotel with a beautiful ambiance. I would go back.

The staff here was super kind and helpful! My Spanish isn’t great and they were willing to help me in English, and be patient as I wanted to practice Spanish. They went above and beyond to answer any questions I had. The included breakfast had a menu to choose from with a variety of options. The pool was also empty of people nearly the entire time I was there; so I was able to swim and float in solitude. It was really the retreat I needed.

An oasis in the middle of downtown Cancun

Wonderful hotel! Exceptional front desk service. Nice pool, surrounded by greenery. Comfortable bed and good pressure shower with hot water. We definitely recommend this hotel and we’ll stay here again

The place is like home. This is my second summer to stayed in Eco Hotel El Rey del Caribe. I give five ⭐ and the place is safe with police around. Everyone is very nice, the breakfast is good, and you can find variety. The rooms are cleaned, and you can prepare some food in there. They have little refrigerator and electric stove. The pool is ready for you to enjoy your day. The place is very culture and rustic which makes to feel like home!! You are so close to take the bus to the hotel zone or Beach ( Bus R1). ADO is very close too, and you can take those buses for the airport or Tulum, Playa del Carmen, etc. Grocery store you can find very close. The Plaza Las Palapas is where you can find delicious and traditional food.

After a long journey for the UK we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful man (wish we’d gotten his name!), his service was really exceptional. The property feels like a little oasis with the greenery and privacy. The cooked breakfast included is also a lovely bonus. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby, plus good transport links to other parts of Cancun

It is a lovely place, that offers good value. Located close to a nice street with many food OPTIONS (el Socio Naiz was the best of all!) and quite close to Zona Hotelera (by car). Breakfast included was a plus. The only two things they could improve on was on having hot water, which usually was cold at night and lukewarm at best during the day, and WiFi connection.

Convenient and affordable

Convenient location close to the ADO bus station, a grocery store and many restaurants. The pool on site is small, but well maintained and is a nice oasis in the busy Centro.

Great place

It is a lovely hotel with great staff and excellent location near the ADO bus station. A green oasis in the middle of the town. Nice Mexican breakfast made to order and served on table with good coffee and even lactose free milk. Really nice and personal stay.

Very nice surprise!

The Hotel was a welcome surprise for the busy downtown area. It was very relaxing and it was nice to see that the staff made such an effort to provide a tranquil setting while keeping the environment in mind. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were perfect. The location was great and close to the ADO bus station and transfers to the Hotel Zone, and walking distance to other places of interest. I highly recommend this Hotel.
