f you book this hotel, be prepared for transportation to the island via ferry. Regarding the hotel itself, there are two pools, but neither ever gets warm. The hot tubs are okay, but all pools and tubs close at 8 PM. The Sky Top area is only open from 12 PM to 8 PM. The hotel is all-inclusive, but it’s not a buffet-style setup. There’s only one restaurant and one café for food and snacks with restricted working hours, plus two bars for drinks. The family room we booked felt more suitable for couples, as it has a completely open, glass-walled bathroom and shower. Overall, I wouldn’t return to this hotel. Thanks!

Estancia diciembre de 2025. La habitación estuvo bien, todo el personal del hotel muy atento, sobre todo Hugo, servicio a la habitación bueno, la comida días buenos y otros no tanto dependía del chef en turno. La música y los videos en la pantalla del sky bar del terror, nada actual solo música de los 70'S para dormir a mis abuelos, subí un día de los 5 que me hospedé y jamás quise volver, vacío sin alma ni experiencia agradable, nadie atendía el bar, dos personas trabajadores del hotel sentadas sin moverse, me hubiera gustado disfrutar ese lugar. Muy agradable el jacuzzi y la playa con la vista hermosa de la puesta de sol. En general la pasé muy bien.

Our room was beautiful and had plenty of room for 3 people. The food was excellent and the service was the best we had ever had at a resort. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating in every way possible.

We chose Hotel Belo’ for our honeymoon because we had stayed here before and truly loved it. Unfortunately, this visit did not live up to our previous experiences. We were offered an upgrade to a balcony room for an additional $50 per night, which we accepted. While the balcony itself was nice, the room had some notable issues. The walls were extremely thin, and there was an adjoining door to the next room that was not properly sealed—you could actually see light coming through it. This caused significant noise and privacy concerns, which was disappointing, especially on a honeymoon. The bathroom was also a major letdown. When we arrived, the hot water was not turned on, and we had to ask staff to come and restore it. Even after that, the water pressure was horrible, making showers uncomfortable and frustrating throughout our stay. The service overall felt like it had declined compared to our previous visit. Staff were polite, but the level of attentiveness was not the same. The menu had also changed, and unfortunately not for the better. The food quality and selection were disappointing compared to what we remembered. This is really too bad, because we genuinely like this hotel and have fond memories here. This stay simply didn’t meet expectations for such a special occasion. For now, I don’t think we’ll be back for a while, but I do hope the hotel can address these issues and return to the quality it once had.

I’m really sorry to have to write this review. The front desk, staff and doorman Mateo. We’re very nice and understanding. Also, Jorge and Victor in the dining room were attentive and very pleasant to deal with. We travel frequently. I am a nurse and my husband is a mechanic. We work very hard to afford vacations. We are not picky and like any local dive bar we come across with good food and drinks. The food here was cafeteria food at best. The breakfast was edible. It was hard to find anyone to wait on you for lunch and when you did, you got attitude. The dinner was disgusting. The room service was disgusting. The room themselves were nice, clean and comfortable. My suggestion is if you stay there, don’t go all inclusive. I tipped every single person that waited on me. Most of the time I felt like I was bothering people when I asked for a drink or food. It seems like they are cutting corners at this hotel. For example, they use red solo cups, and we’re reusing them behind the bar when they couldn’t find any new ones. I spoke with a couple that stayed there three times. They said it has gotten progressively less nice and accommodating. We left a day early. Again, I named the staff above because it was not their fault. The cleaning staff is also excellent. I hope this review helps.

We enjoyed our stay. There were pros and cons. Our room was beautiful howevwr they didnt provide waah cloths and the walls are thin. Could hear every word and sound our neighbors made. Bathroom was nice. Showerhead which was supposed to be a rainfall type didnt work properly. Staff was very friendly and polite. Pool area was also nice bit rhe fountain wasnt working and the jets in the round pool part ne er turned on. We dont understand why the jacuzzis arent warm at all. If we want cold we would get in the pool. Beach front kept very clean and view was quite beautiful. Restaurant had good food. Small portions. Skip the snack bar all together. Not good good at all.

On our last night, the linen placed on one of the beds reeked of urine. It was disgusting. We ended up combining beds because honestly, even if changed who would want to sleep there. When I mentioned it at check out, the response was underwhelming. Every other part of the stay fell firmly in the average range. Food, service, amenities, all mediocre. Obviously we will not stay here again.

The pools were clean and big, the kids loved both pools and the hottubs upstairs are hot, so it was nice to use them in the evenings with a beautiful view. Even though I had reserved a balcony room, I was given the only room without a balcony. When I asked them to move us to a room with balcony, I was told that was not possible because I had booked through Expedia which I did not understand.

The staff was friendly but not attentive. It was hard to find someone to get a drink and when we did find someone we had to wait a good 10-15 minutes before we received our drink. The pool has a swim up bar but there was never a bartender there since the same staff member is waiting tables at the snack bar. The food was not good and the portions were small. They do not cater to people with food sensitivities. They were constantly running out of things from one day to the next. There are zero activities. If you want something to do, you have to go offsite. The music is loud until late at night and it's all EDM. We were there for Christmas and had dinner where a family member joined us later and she was given a special Christmas menu. This menu was not offered to us for unknown reasons. The room was small and clean but the bathroom counter was covered in stains. There were not many guests so we often had the rooftop pool to ourselves. The beach is small but clean.

The food quality has gone down at Beló. We were there in March of 2025 and returned in December. The food quality has gone down significantly since March, with smaller portions, fewer options to choose from, etc. the bar kept running out of red wine!!! They only had like 4 bottles for the entire restaurant for the night. However, the bar did the best they could to save some bottles for us, so we are still grateful!! The staff was awesome, best staff in cancun, very attentive, helpful. Some good drink selection at the sky bar. Not much to do at night, restaurant closes early. Overall still good, we love how peaceful this property is, the staff makes you feel home, catering to your every need. Hope they can elevate their menu and do some updates to the property - bathroom design is just not good, showers flood the entire bathroom.

The room was incredible with an Amazing view. The staff was absolutely AMAZING and very ATTENTIVE. Mateo the bell boy was awesome at welcoming else and seeing us out on the last day of stay. 100/10 def reccomend and plan on returning during the summer.
