El lugar es súper bonito, todo siempre olía súper rico, la comida es buena, el área de snack, las pizzas, la cafetería y todo el personal con el que nos tocó interactuar siempre fue muy amable. La habitación siempre estaba bien limpia. Un hotel con mucha vibra familiar, sim duda me encantaría volver a visitarlo.

Food is a problem in this resort, everything seems to be a nightmare if you try to get any kind of snack after 10, drinks are out of order at 11 so for fsake if you are hungry or need a drink there’s no way, unless, to get a room service and have to wait in our room pay 6$ for delivery and wake up the kids, no other options. Also, buffet is ok, same repetitive, used food from breakfast and lunch and booking one of their à la cart restaurants is a huge challenge, you got three bookings through the GR Solaris app and that’s it unless you are a member lol. Everything is all about their member, whatever this is. We had to keep asking for towels and water bottles. You are only allowed with 2 small sol beer and you don’t get it until you ask. Anyway, just putting an honest opinion for other people to be aware.

We had a wonderful time at GR Solaris Cancun and Spa. Traveled with another couple. Everyone from reception to concierge to servers in all of the restaurants and bars and servers at the pool area were excellent. Very kind, fast, friendly and they all work so hard. Special shout out to Angel and Feliciano, great energy and friendliness.We already miss you guys! Food was great, lots of choices and fresh and delicious. During our 1 week stay, we had 3 dinners at specialty restaurants and our favorite was Mexican Don Gus restaurant. The dishes they had were not your typical Mexican food and they had great wine and beautiful view of the beach. As far as entertainment, every night at 9 pm they had an amazing show, we enjoyed all of them very much and they are all very talented. I can't recommend this resort enough, we had amazing time and would love to come back.

We stayed in a room which seemed to be above their entertainment theatre and it was very noisy. It was especially disruptive waking up to hearing tables being moved in the middle of the night between 1am and 3am every night. Other than that, the room and food were decent. Staff were friendly.

Apparently “All Inclusive” includes childcare at this resort, as most families observed during our stay allowed their children to run around the halls screaming at night and to (literally) climb on the partitions at the buffet with absolutely no parental supervision or intervention.

The staff did a great job serving us. For those that have stayed here before, note that there has been a change by management that only allows you to book three reservations in the dinning rooms regardless of your stay. Very disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at GR Solaris Cancun, and the resort truly exceeded our expectations. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with beautiful views that added to the relaxing atmosphere. Food options were plentiful and delicious, with something for everyone at each meal. The pools, beach access, and overall resort layout were perfect for both relaxation and family time. We would absolutely return and highly recommend GR Solaris Cancun to anyone looking for a carefree and enjoyable all-inclusive vacation.

The resort itself has a beautiful location—the beach and views were absolutely breathtaking, which was definitely a highlight of our stay. That said, the rooms were just okay and very outdated. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the sheets felt thick and heavy—almost like curtains—which made sleeping hot and sweaty. Comfort was definitely lacking. The food was another downside. We ended up eating out every night because the buffet food was not good. There was only one night where we enjoyed a single item, and while breakfast was decent, it wasn’t anything memorable. Where this resort truly shines is the staff. They were genuinely amazing and clearly did their best to make our experience enjoyable despite the shortcomings. Darvin Garcia deserves special recognition—he served us every morning at breakfast and is truly a gem. His personality is incredible, he was very attentive, interactive, and made sure we had everything we needed. He really made us feel at home and was a bright spot in our stay. I wouldn’t recommend this resort if you’re traveling as a couple or looking for a romantic getaway. However, it is very kid-friendly, so families may enjoy it more. Overall, stunning views and exceptional staff—but the rooms and food need major improvements.

The food was mediocre. The staff wasn't all that friendly, especially the morning towel guy by the pool. Our shower had no water pressure. I'd not come back to this place.

This is resort deserves 2.5 star, app does not allow to give. The amenities are very less compared to other hotels in area. Also they have same kind of food is there every day. And specialist restaurants are always full. Activity wise, same water zumba everyday. Hospitality wise, they charge 6 dollar for in room delivery, where as in other hotels no extra charge for in room delivery.

Room was nice. Promise of Champagne and chocolate strawberries never made it to the room. Made dinner reservations for one of the in house restaurants and it was closed at our reservation time. Had to wait in line for breakfast daily. Seemed to not have enough space for all the guests meals in an all inclusive resort. Tried to speak to general manager twice and was avoided both times even though the person was there according to staff. This is our second stay at a Solaris resort and we won’t be going back after this experience. Would like to talk to someone about a partial refund because of our terrible experience and not receiving all that was promised or paid for.

Ok so the food was terrible. Only food that was somewhat decent was the food at the snack bar by the pool. Drinks were not good either. Only reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff around the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The last time we stayed here was probably 15 years ago and we will not be returning.

So this is my honest review of the place. To start, the hotel tries hard which is a good thing. The staff members are great and the facilities are pretty much clean for the duration that I was there. The porters are lovely, the dinner staff and cleaning crews are great. However, where the hotel looses ratings is the food selections. Marco Polo and the Italian restaurant are great, but the buffet menu needs a whole revamp. I am not too much of a picky eater, but I hardly found the choices satisfying. Please please please revamp the food menus especially at the pool. Breakfast was ok as they had alot of fresh fruits and regular hotel breakfast options. Back to the good stuff. The pools were well kept, the hot tub was nice, the beach had staff watching out including the lifeguard and security. I honestly would return. Shout out to Bellarina and Darvin who ensure my son was always taken care of.

I booked a stay at GR Solaris to celebrate my wife’s birthday, expecting a memorable and elevated experience. Unfortunately, our visit was marked by repeated miscommunication, unmet promises, and inconsistent service that ultimately made the trip disappointing. Upon arrival, we were given black wristbands and explicitly told by club sales representatives that these granted us VIP access equivalent to Solaris Members. Throughout our stay, this was repeatedly contradicted by staff, leaving us confused about what privileges we actually had. I booked a two-bed room that was supposed to include a bottle of champagne to celebrate my wife’s arrival. Instead, we were placed in a one-king room (Room 8258) with no champagne or wine provided. We were also told our first night’s dinner reservation had already been booked for us at Marco Polo at 9:20 PM, only to arrive and discover that Marco Polo was not even open that night. The following morning, we were denied mimosas at breakfast and told those were reserved for members only, again contradicting what we had been promised. After raising concerns, we were finally moved to the room we originally booked through Expedia, which included an alcohol dispenser—but it was completely empty and never stocked. Additional issues included cold buffet food at lunch and the main pool being closed for the remainder of the day after a 45-minute wait due to “deep cleaning.”This trip was meant to celebrate my wife and instead became a frustrating event
