Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya in Cancun surpassed all my expectations! The entire staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The beautiful hotel scream luxury as soon as you walk in The rooms were extremely clean, and the view of the ediface is spectacular , quite and peaceful. The breakfast at Chaya restaurant was so good, My family loved it. I highly recommend this hotel ,its worth every penny and more. A very big Thank you from the FRIMPONG family to the entire staff for this amazing experience . Y'all Rock!!!!!

Beautiful, clean, fresh Riviera Maya property. Great ocean views, although little if any beach to enjoy and except for a handful of unpromoted kayaks, no watersports. If you are visiting Cancun for warm weather and great hospitality this is your spot. If you are looking for authentic Mexican culture, a sprawling resort style pool, big palapa and some lively music this may not be your fit...this is Orlando south.

This experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment you entered the lobby to the moment I left, I was pleasantly surprised by the staff and their attentiveness to details. They were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were also very spacious and had a ton of upgrades including a stunning view overlooking their pool and the beach. Everything was incredibly clean. I would definitely return back to this hotel next time!

Overall, we had a very good stay. The food and service were excellent, the spa and amenities were great, and everyone we encountered was warm and hospitable. We tipped 25% throughout our stay because we genuinely appreciated the level of service. ***We also booked a private dinner at Malpeque, which was exactly the experience I had pictured. Unfortunately, there was a significant issue with the wine: I intended to order a bottle for roughly 1,500 pesos ($85 USD) but was instead charged a bottle costing approximately US$1,500. This resulted in a dinner bill of around US$2,500, including nearly US$430 in gratuity. I did not ask for compensation, but this was a substantial and costly mistake. The next day i brought it to the resort's attention, and they admitted that they had made a mistake in the charges, and it should have been 85$ USD. I am still waiting for the error to be corrected, but I tipped based off a 2500$ USD bill = $430 USD tip. I want to believe this was an accident, and not an "angle" on their part. But be careful about wrongful charges *** The resort was also unusually quiet during our stay, with perhaps only 6-8 other couples around, so it lacked some atmosphere. We also had an unpleasant breakfast experience being seated directly beside an obnoxious couple when the restaurant was empty. Despite these issues, the overall service was excellent, and the staff were consistently gracious and hospitable.

The resort is lovely, rooms are spacious and beautiful and beds very comfortable. The only place this resort needs to improve, is service at the restaurants - it is just too slow - this was at every restaurant, which is disappointing as the food is top notch.

Beautiful resort. Very quiet and pristine. Very safe and secluded. Extremely clean and staff are excellent. Every room has an ocean view and a jacuzzi hot tub on the balcony. Rooms don't have microwaves or mini frig to store food. The spa is nice. Three good restaurants on site. Two infinity pools. Limited beach space. Not the resort for large sandy beach.

Beautiful property, very relaxing and the staff were so kind and hospitable. Food was fantastic in all of the restaurants. If you want somewhere very quiet, relaxing and luxurious this is the place.
