โWhat a wonderful hotel! My family and I had a perfect stay at the Sophy. We found our room ample in size and very well-appointed. Staff were helpful. The neighborhood was charming and very safe. Weโll definitely stay here on our next trip to Chicago!โ
โIf you are wanting a cheap motel for the night, this is it. Just keep in mind that itโs cheap for a reason. Upon arrival, we noticed a used needle/syringe on the ground. The sheets of the bed were stained so we had to ask for new ones. The shower leaked, there was no mini fridge/kitchenette, no lamps or additional lighting. Not a big deal for a one night stay but maybe for longer periods. The actual place was dirty beyond repair (the stairs, the railings, the storage rooms, the roof overhang)....
