The hotel is near the square and only a 5 minute walk from the market/train/bus stations, but far enough away from the most active places to be calming. Be mindful of the hike up to the hotel! If you can pack extra light, do so. I was lucky to meet a couple of young men to help carry my suitcase up the flights of stairs and the hotel host carried it down for me when I left.”

“This place is gorgeous serenity in the midst of what can be a wild town. My 5th floor room with floor to ceiling windows and views of the Andes was everything I’d hoped for! Feel like an ecolodge, right over the river from the train station and walking distance to everything.”

“Everything was lovely and the staff were great. I had a free day and asked what I could do nearby. I ended up having a lovely morning with Audry (member of staff) who cycled with me (hotel bicycle) to a nearby archaeological site where we had a walk around.
