"Needed to stay here because of work. Even with the air-conditioning set to 19 for the entire night, the lowest the room temperature got was 27. It was difficult to sleep and the hotel staff were quite rude. I don't recommend going here unless you absolutely have to"

"This place was very nearly a perfect hotel room - incredibly spacious, exceedingly comfortable bed and pillows, toilet sink actually had soap (not often the case in Japan), a fantastic shower and tub, and so much space for storage of your items. The only 2 things more I could have asked for would have been natural light in the bathroom and a view from the window, but those are both pretty minor asks. The hotel itself is also in a super convenient area right near transit and easy to get taxis, and walking distance to a ton of food, shops, Gion, and more."

"The hotel is in a great location, close to lots of shopping and dining options at all price points. We loved the gyoza restaurant across the street! The nearby river is a lovely spot to walk along or to take a break. The room was the largest we had of our two week trip and was very modern and clean. There were always many staff available and they were helpful and efficient. Overall this hotel appeared to be well managed and is an attractive hotel in a great location. "
