“First time staying at this property and I absolutely loved it! From the beginning, the staff were so welcoming and attentive! They gave great recommendations for things to do in the area! The front desk staff were so punctual and had ever ready when needed! Our villa was super clean and spacious. It was a lovely time! Only downside was it being on the Lagoon side of the island, so wasn’t much beach area, however, the boat tours and other activities made up for it! Would stay again!”

“We felt so welcome and pampered at this gorgeous resort. We were greeted and helped with our luggage, the Staff took care of our meal orders , grabbed extra towels for our excursion, made beautiful drinks. The rooms had a lovely view of the river and the sound lulled us to sleep. Gorgeous spot!”

“This place was excellent vacation resort. The staff was over the top and helpful in every aspect. The taxi service they recommend was excellent along with Tusammi golf carts. Martha, Cindy and Shein were the staff and did everything to make our stay perfect. We will be back for sure !!!!!!”

“Rosie the Office Manager was very helpful with changing our time for the water taxi. Ashanti the bartender made the best dirty banana I have ever enjoyed. Paulina our housekeeper did an excellent job in maintaining the order and cleanness of our room. Mike the maintenance man educated us on the culture of the people of Ambergris Caye and recommended the best restaurants on the island. ”

“Our first time back in Belize in 18 years . Umaya was the perfect place. The views over the lagoon towards the Maya mountains are perfect backdrop after a day at the beach and pool. The staff were great, very helpful with booking trips etc. The restaurant is excellent and the wood burning Pizzeria provides a great alternative. We will be back ”
