“Tired, dirty and cramped. Online check in pointless, you still have to join the massive queue. Half the 'attractions' of the hotel shut. No ironing board or iron in room, you have to pay DESPITE THIS BEING ADVERTISED AS COMING WITH THE ROOM. Bed was acceptable... A bit lumpy and some questionable hairs. Room was tired, drawers broken, window handle broken, bathroom was dirty and stunk of drains whenever you used the sink. Blood stains on the wall, suspicious stains on the chair at the end of...

“A “well used” hotel - still use actual keys for rooms (nothing wrong with that but indicates lack of updates). Shabby carpet in reception repaired with gaffer tape (not great for 1st impressions). Rooms lacking soundproofing. Can’t comment further as decided it wasn’t for me and checked out without staying - this was within 10 mins of checking in, receptionist looked perplexed but didn’t actually ask if anything was wrong. The room was clean.”

“We stayed here just as a stop over and it was a very small and low double bed in a huge room. It wasnt the cleanest so I was glad I had slippers with me. Shower ceiling was too low for a 6'2 person so my partner had to crouch. The main parts of the hotel looked nice on arrival, but we didnt make use of it. Nice and quiet despite the location.”

“I have used this hotel over a number of years- with always good service. Sadly it’s closing to be taken over by the Government to house asylum seekers. This is a big loss for Leyland because the hotel was well used by local people for events .”
