“Hotel and staff were very good but the area did not seem to be safe. There are homeless and obvious drug users in the area that would congregate at the entrance of the hotel parking lot. A couple blocked the entrance at one point as we were trying to enter. Asheville needs to find better ways to address the homeless throughout the city. Wish we had stayed in a different area. Probably won’t stay in this city again.”

“The entire property is kind of run down. Shower head fell on my head and it is a good thing I was not hurt because the phone in the room did not work. I could not call for a wake up call. Did not like that there was very little lighting in the room and not any electric plugs anywhere near the bed or night stand. Phone had to be charged across the room and in the corner. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. All in all I would stay them again knowing there are not frills. If you...
