“The staff at the Bath Hampton Inn is terrific. They couldn't be friendlier and more accommodating. It was quiet, clean, and conveniently located. Breakfast had many choices and was available for long enough to accommodate late sleepers. We will certainly be back again to stay here.”

“I want to start by mentioning our host was actually hospitalized with a health issue when we were visiting, so we just appreciated her efforts to make sure we could get in and have a place to stay -- I'm sure there might have been some extra small touches under different circumstances. “The place was infested with bugs crawling on the walls and floors. The bedsheets had dead bugs on them when the top covers were removed. Bedsheets also had stains on them. There were no fans or a/c. We bought fans and left them there. The kitchen had some kind of fungus growing in it. All the ceilings had webs with spiders in it. Floors were not washed. All outdoor furniture were covered in mold. Would not recommend this place. ”

“We arrived earlier than check in and were given the keys. The check in process was friendly and efficient. All staff are knowledgeable and offer suggestions to visitors. Parking was easy and nearby. The room was impeccably clean and more than adequate for the two of us. Bedding was very comfortable . The attached restaurant is okay, but the view from the rooftop cannot be beat on a nice day. We will most definitely return to the Tugboat.”

My daughter walked barefoot and her feet were black. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly in some time. Boothbay has limited affordable options, and this place has real potential.
