“Lovely staff very helpful few issues on arrival apparently Expedia and the hotel had not communicated properly. We didn't like staying in the Gatehouse room...it was dark, the spare room was quite scary thank goodness we didn't use it. My man was so looking forward to a nice bath and jacuzzi but hey ho...the jacuzzi didn't work. Nice breakfast. Won't stay here again though.”

“The public areas of the hotel were clean and comfortable but my room was downright scruffy. The carpet was fraying in places and although the toilet, sink and shower in the bathroom were clean the room itself was in need of attention. The only good thing about the room was the view! HOWEVER I understand that the hotel is in the process of renovation, in fact work was in progress in one room on my floor so I was probably unlucky in the timing of my visit.
