“The staff here were nothing short of excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Hot and cold buffet breakfast, had an evening meal, the haddock and chips was to die for. Clean and tidy room, unfortunately we had a downstairs room which looked out over the front of the hotel, probably a net curtain or maybe some kind of blind would have offered some privacy as arriving guests were outside our window. The hotel would benefit from a bit of money spending on it as it was quite tired in places.”

“Excellent and would highly recommend stay, food and junior suite with hot tub. Areas of improvement: Old plumbing pipes by the hot tub in room 24 fires off unpleasant scents here and there and staff could be a bit more friendly and approachable.”

“Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which, after filling with water we discovered the jacuzzi didn't work. Also the shower head had black mould on it, something that could easily be cleaned. As for the shower, it was old and tired, with water pouring from the waterfall shower head and the handheld shower head simultaneously, and the rather small shower screen ensured a soaking wet bathroom floor. When we arrived back in the evening our room was cold, as the hotel decides...

“Arrived to be told that we could not park at the hotel because there was no room, despite spaces being evident. After being offered the option of parking in a public car park a short walk away we declined this option and after some more discussion with the receptionist we eventually got agreement that we could park outside. Our room was on the top floor of the hotel. The lift was broken for the duration of our stay so we had to climb three flights of stairs to get to the room (the staff did take...
