However, Jung Hotel still exists and the reviews were so good that I chose this hotel for the meeting date. The convention center is about a 10-minute drive from the hotel, but the French Quarter is still close (10-minute walk). The surrounding area is very quiet and safe, unlike the city center. “Great location just far enough away from Bourbon Street to be quiet but close enough to easily walk to and around the French Quarter. Parking was quite secure but really tight. Lovely courtyard with pool. ”
