“Arrived and allocated room and put all our luggage in room only to be treated by bathroom being flooded from above. This should have been checked prior to check in. We were allocated a new room but no compensation for the hassle caused after a long day of travel.”

“This was a quick overnight stay on the drive back from Cornwall. The off-street parking and affordability were key in our purchase. Our room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.”

Hotel is closed to road so that buzzing vehicles noise comes into window over night make me hard to sleep. Electric hot pot is served with stain inside so there's no way to make tea in the room.”

“There is a lot that is exceptionally good about the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful , the food and drinks of high standard and the spa area very good. The only slight downsides were poor WiFi although this seems to affect the whole village when we visited. We’d love to come back.”

The room was exceptionally well kept and clean with lovely finishes. We had a balcony looking out over lush gardens and we could hear the river flowing which was beautiful. Suppose they thought it was self explanatory that room key was also key for front door; and to help ourselves to table and food at breakfast. Comfortable bed. Room snug, cosy, quiet and clean.
