โFabulous hotel, all staff were really helpful and friendly, it was impeccably clean, facilities were excellent. We went with our grandchildren and we all had an no amazing time. โ
โSt Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive.
Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...
โWe stayed here for the Victorious festival and the location was perfect.
We arrived at 10:30am and there were stil quite a few car parking spaces left.
Staff were very welcoming and hotel was quite.

โStaff are very welcoming and will help as much as they can, to make sure your stay is good, the rooms are clean and fresh, the bar and dining areas are clean, and the pool table is a great added extra to this B&B.
Like most old buildings there is always something that needs doing, if you look for it, but overall the property is in good character.

โThis was such an incredible place to stay! The staff was so nice and accommodating! The rooms were super clean and very quaint. Robes and slippers everything you need. The breakfast in the morning was great, one of the best omelets Iโve had, and our waitress was the sweetest! We will definitely be coming back!โ
โWe stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.โ
โStayed here for a night booked online really late at night and was greeted at reception by a very pleasant and helpful young lad whose manners and customer service were second to none (very good), the hotel lobby, hallways and room is exceptionally clean to a high standard and the room was to a high standard. Will be coming back for a longer stay next time and would certainly recommend to friends and family or people in general ๐โ
โWe have stayed here before and again got a family room for 3 nights. This one was better than the last one. We did not stay here for breakfast and went to Morrisons instead. There is limited parking at the hotel and overnight parking on the roads available. Ok if youโre off out for the day, they supply towels and a little bar of soap each. You need to supply shampoo etc. very friendly staffโ
โMy friend and I were looking for a base to explore the historic towns, houses and gardens of this area, and struck lucky with this hotel. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended. โ
