Cahokia
Nestled in the heart of East St. Louis, Cahokia offers adventurous travelers a rare opportunity to walk in the footsteps of North America's most sophisticated pre-Columbian civilization. This historic neighborhood serves as your gateway to one of the continent's most significant archaeological treasures. Cahokia offers travelers something increasingly rare: an authentic slice of American river town life. Local establishments serve up genuine Midwest hospitality alongside regional specialties, while community events showcase the area's rich African American heritage and Mississippi River culture. Top East St. Louis Hotel Reviews
Hampton Inn St. Louis-Downtown (At the Gateway Arch)
"Overall, I slept really well and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was welcoming. Breakfast was good - though the coffee was a little weak. The ice machines were not working on three of the floors, nor did the water cooler in the fitness room work. I would go there again."
Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch
"Clean. All personnel effective, friendly, and efficient."
Quality Inn & Suites near St. Louis and I-255
"Clean room, good brakefast, the king bed comfortable, 10 minute to downtown of st louis, very good hotel"
Home2 Suites by Hilton St. Louis Downtown
"Clean rooms friendly staff, wide lobby and good breakfast only thing was no parking at the premises"
Casino Queen Hotel
"Hotel is nothing fancy. The shuttle to and from sporting events is a nice bonus. Free parking is also a plus. It is nice to have the casino for entertainment, bars and restaurants since the hotel doesn’t offer anything. The king beds have very sharp corners on the frame and I caught it and got a good gash in my shin."
Angad Arts Hotel St. Louis, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
"I felt unsafe"
Live by Loews - St.Louis
"very enjoyable stay! If you are an older couple, I would recommend getting the valet parking & pay the extra $10 rather than walking to the parking garage, getting your vehicle & driving it around to the loading area. The valet parking gentlemen were very nice & helped us even though we did not order valet parking. Loved the location and the convenience being close to Busch stadium! it was nice being able to walk out of the front of the hotel & across the street into the stadium since I use a walker to walk. hotel staff were all very pleasant & helpful!"
The West End
"Easy secure (paid) parking at rear. Good location for getting down town (10 minute drive). Pleasant communal area on ground floor."
Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis at the Arch
"Place is amazing. Great location, great breakfast, great kickbacks. Staff was amazing. Especially Lorraine and Shirley had the best attitude and smile. I will definitely be staying a Drury places."
