“Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink. Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. “Lovely views and location. Super nice staff. But the pool area was awful. The pool had brown water in it and construction workers lying around. No sun beds etc. Also the rooms were not sound proof so I slept bad since the ppl on the room next doors was coming home late and was talking and making a lot of noises and also got up very early and started to make noises. ”
