Our host, Brian, had taken the trouble to recommend a local restaurant and even booked us a table where we could enjoy the magnificent sunset overlooking the valley. He has also done some enviable research into the local vineyards, restaurants, etc, and left his personal guide in our apartment for us to look through. “We fell in love with Leeu House. The staff were so friendly and so helpful - preempting our needs before we even asked. Going above and beyond to help us with reservations (including a last minute request to help us find somewhere to watch the sunset!). The grounds are absolutely beautiful, as are the rooms. Feels like a little sanctuary but still walking distance from all the best restaurants, galleries and the wine tram. Highly highly recommend. Only thing is we wish the pool was heated!”
