"Restaurant was reasonably priced and good. System was well-organized; staff was friendly; and there is a playground next door. I did not have a chance to try the breakfast since needing to leave early. The beds were rather firm. And the bathroom door gives a truly cultural experience to family-style (clear on bottom and does not completely separate the rooms but is sufficient). Otherwise, it is perfect and would be 5 stars."

"Fabulous property in a perfect location along the river! The Front Desk staff was very helpful. They were able to get us tickets for the Lucerne Music Festival and helped us with very good dinner reservations. The room was perfect, with a nice large balcony over looking the river. We will definitely stay here again."

Staff was very helpful, this is downhill from their main train station but the hotel has a shuttle service and will give a multi use bus pass to easily go uphill to the Grindelwald train station during your stay. The breakfast is great and the view from the hotel is amazing."
