“We stayed for one night, also having dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely and clean, the dinner and breakfast were both freshly cooked and delicious. It was great to see the bar /restaurant buzzing with locals and others staying there. Staff were really helpful. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay and located well for exploring. ”

It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. “Only two staff trying to run hotel. Had to wait for a table then service, even though the restaurant only had a couple of people in it. As the girl couldn’t run everything, not her fault. Food was terrible and dry with brown coleslaw. The hotel didn’t seem that busy considering it was Easter weekend. Had the same problem I at the other Premiere Inn hotel in Exeter last year.”

“Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”
