“Super friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they don’t. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!”

We stayed in a hop pickers hut (number 4 was great as end of the row and cleaning cupboard next to us so no noise from neighbours) which had a large and comfortable bed and was thoughtfully appointed. Really appreciated the homey, peaceful atmosphere. “We arrived after midnight for an overnight family stay before an early ferry from Dover. Our 6 year old promptly threw up in reception but the chap checking us in was amazing. We tried to clean up but he insisted he would do it and despite being mortified he made us feel welcome.
For what we paid, the hotel was comfortable, 2 large king beds, very clean, good staff and easy location. Would definitely stay again.”

Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked.
