“Beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings Spotlessly clean. Bedding and towels were high standards, helpful friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again ”

“Great pub/hotel/bistro in a beautiful peaceful village. Staff were extremely helpful. We had a wedding with so needed an early check-in and late return. Both were accommodated for. Room was clean, fresh. Continental breakfast was included in price. We also paid extra for cooked b/fast. Very nice freshly cooked, hot, good quality products. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Star Inn and stay there again. Or even go for a nice meal. Give it a go ! ”

“A very nice B&B in a peaceful location and a pub is just a walking distance away! There is a court yard within the compound where one can relax. We enjoyed our one night stay here and enjoyed our full English breakfast. Thank you.”

“So, a one night stay for Donington Park and it was a head on a pillow. The property is in dire need of an uplift. It felt like I was staying in a care home to be honest. The food in the restaurant was excellent but the atmosphere, oh my days,so quiet and sterile. Get some background music on...... And no air-conditioning.”

“Stayed here many times but disappointed the room (carpet) didn't look clean, bathroom, this is only room with a bath and this will be the third time I've had this room and the bath taps don't work you can only use the shower. Previously I've had water in the room but not this time. Didn't look like the tea, coffee, etc. had been topped up”

“Stayed for 3 nights, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was air conditioning, the accommodation is in a lodge, separate from the pub,we didn’t have breakfast, we had one evening meal at the pub, which was ok, although rather expensive for ordinary pub grub.”

“Lovely spacious room with milk in a fridge and real coffee bags. Comfy bed and super shower. Breakfast was a help yourself to croissant and butter. Would've been good to have had a more healthy option. Such as fruit and/or yogurt in the fridge. Only issue really was the wifi. Couldn't get the TV to work in the morning, and in th3 evening it dropped out a lot. Other than that it was a very comfortable stay. Thank you.”

“We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Beeches. We had an evening meal too wgich was excellent. Lots of variety at breakfast - which is self service. Delicious croissants and fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereal too. They have thought carefully about the hear too with a large fan in the room and ice water on arrival.”

“Nice large room and facilities were very good with a lovely view over the golf course. Our room (102) had an issue with its power. Which led to some maintenance.”
