"We’ve stayed at the Hotel Okura Kobe 3 times for the last 3 years . Unfortunately this property is showing sign of wear and tear . This room was booked on Hotels.com and by doing so I didn’t receive some of the perks available as if I booked directly with the hotel .
No waters , cookies or daily newspaper .
Along with have an exposed carpet seam and
Threads unraveling was a hazard as you could snag your toe on them . The trim around the closet door was peeling and should been along the carpet attended to prior to my stay or any future guest . The small things like newspaper, papers and water should always be offered regardless if we booked directly or a secondary source . Our friends who were also on this trip received the amenities with their room stay which made me aware of them ."
