"We spent one night here and it completely exceeded our expectations. The location was quiet, peaceful and all the amenities were very clean and modern. We were awaken by a choir of birds, with a backdrop of lush green mountains to sooth our souls. The owners are extremely kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We spent our morning and afternoon fishing and exploring the area. Thank you for the 5 star experience! We hope visit again in the near future."

HOTEL MYSTAYS Fuji Onsen Resort

"Hotel was really nice, very clean and spacious. They provided pyjamas, toothbrushes and other free amenities that you can collect at the reception area which was top quality. Only thing missing was Mt Fuji which was not visible for the two days we stayed which would have been an incredible view from our window. You can either walk from Kawaguchiko Station for 20mins or take the local bus which is a 5 minute ride to Asakasa which leaves you directly infront of the hotel. Would definitely recommend!"

"By far one of our favourite stays during our Japan trip. The view of Fuji is unparalleled and the hotel also has panoramic viewing facilities on the top floor with comfortable sofas to settle and contemplate. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable, and if you happen to get a garden view instead of a fuji mountain view, you will NOT be disappointed - the mountains and lake make for a gorgeous backdrop. The hotel is secluded and yet the town is a quick walk away, so your stay can be varied in activity. The breakfast buffet is EXCELLENT! The hotel may feel a bit dated to some, but it is in great condition and well cared for. Very very clean. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Extremely good value for money. Oh and don’t forget to buy some fish food and feed the kois in the pond"

"The location is great. Morning views of Mount Fuji were unbeatable. We were fortunate to have clear mornings, although, mid afternoon to late afternoon, clouds tend to move in and cover the mountain. Although very old property, it is well maintained, very clean. The Open air spa is fantastic, providing a very close-up, intimate view of Mount Fuji. all in all, our three night stay was wonderful. Highly recommend this property. Since the property is 2 km up the mountain, transportation could be an issue, although, if you carefully plan your exit and return, with their shuttle service, it works out very well."

"One of the most cooperative and caring hosts I’ve ever met. Hiro was exceptional. Even though our stay was very short, he made every effort to accommodate all our needs. I highly recommend this resort. The location was outstanding. You can enjoy beautiful views of Mt. Fuji directly from the room, or take a peaceful 5-minute walk to the nearby lake. With little to no crowd, the calm and serenity in the morning felt truly special. Compared to this area, Oishi Park felt a bit too crowded for my preference. The rooms are exactly same as described, with all the cooking facilities."

"I was really excited to stay here, mainly because of the amazing view of Mount Fuji, and it absolutely delivered. The rooftop view was incredible and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Especially since it was a clear sunny day, not a cloud to be seen! The room itself was okay. The television was quite small, though we didn’t really watch it anyway, and we understood that rooms in Japan can be a bit smaller. The experience of sleeping on the traditional tatami is very neat. The only disappointing part was the complimentary breakfast experience. Guests could choose between a traditional Japanese breakfast, an egg salad sandwich, or another sandwich option. Our whole family had loved the egg salad sandwiches throughout Japan, so we selected those. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up and we were served the traditional breakfast instead. When we asked if it could be changed, we were told it was too late. To be fair the traditional breakfast was quite good. It seemed more like a communication breakdown than anything else. Overall, it was still a nice place to rest and enjoy the beautiful Mount Fuji views. Also, make sure to eat at Oden nearby, great food!"
