"Ok, so the hotel is in an amazing spot. On the bay with direct beach access. Quite a few loungers around the beach and its a beautiful sport to relax with safe swimming. The pool is pretty big and so is the hot tub altho.
That is the biggest pro. We'd stay again for the above alone but defo ask for a Bay View next time.
The room we had which was good as far as rooms go but was very dark and overlooking a parking lot - and the other side of the bay.
Staff at reception are not the warmest and our check-in and check-out left a lot to be desired. We went to the onsite Dockside Restaurant which I highly recommend. Great food and service. Quite pricey but having wine in America is for some reason. Short 10min walk to Mission Beach which has a boardwalk and is good for swimming and only about 20mins to downtime and 5mins for Seaworld (if people still go there?)."
