“all good really, Just upset on the friday night there was no bar open. We had to go to petrol station to buy wine instead and had it in our room. Reception very friendly. Also no signs on the main road to say where the hotel was. Its set back from main road but address says edge lane. Its behind shell garage if we knew that it would have been big help.”

“Unfortunately, the experience in MacDonald Craxton Wood was not the best. Starting with our room not being ready for the 3pm check in. Our room then was not the cleanest. The jug of water was also not fresh with the water from the last guest still being in it, lack of plugs in the rooms and the TV was not smart. We then discovered the next day after returning from a busy day out the rooms aren’t serviced unless you request it. Now reception did give us fresh towels when asked but didn’t...

“We had a lovely stay, we really enjoyed our evening meal and drinks. Played lots of pool in the games room and the staff were lovely and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks”
