"We spent a week here as a family of five (kids ages 7.14 and 17) and unfortunately would not return. Despite advertising 15 pools, there is nowhere to escape the constant noise. Loud music, water aerobics and entertainment play throughout the day, right up until 11pm and can be heard across much of the resort. Even the water park has music blasting all day. If you want a peaceful holiday, this is not the place. Our biggest issue was cleanliness. On arrival our room had clearly not been cleaned properly, with dirt, insects, missing supplies, poo still down the toilet and up the wall from a previous guest and an unpleasant smell. The adjoining room for our children was also poorly prepared. We were moved two days later (hotel full) but this should never have happened at a hotel claiming five stars. The buffet restaurants were overcrowded, very noisy and repetitive. Food quality was average and hygiene standards appeared poor, with flies around food stations and questionable food handling. Several members of our family suffered stomach problems during the stay. The staff generally tried their best, but management appeared overwhelmed during the Eid period and clearly didn’t care. Requests often went unanswered and communication was poor. The gym and spa is excellent and some of the gardens are attractive. However, these positives did not outweigh the poor cleanliness, lack of relaxation, repetitive food and drink selection and disappointing service. We would not return."

"The service was not the best when it came to cleaning the room or getting drinks at the pool. The lodges are very nice especially the 2 rooms/2 bathrooms connected to a living room. The cleanliness was not great. Rooms were not cleaned in morning while at the pool necessarily. Sometimes they didn’t clean until 1600/1700 and it was mainly just making beds and a quick wipe down of toilet and sink. Pool and water park were great for the kids. There was lots to do in the water park from lazy river, wave machine pool, water slides, kids pools/water slides, and kids club. Breakfast was okay. Start time says 0730 but not everything is out until about 0830. Also birds fly in and out eating some of the foods that are uncovered. Kittens under the table begging for food. Regardless of some of the flaws I would suggest this as a great place to stay with kids or friends. Only a 10min or less drive to the Medina, which cost about 100-150MAD or about $10-15 USD each way. There is a free shuttle that runs between 10-6 but you need to reserve your time at least a day in advance. Sometimes you can get it the day of depending what time you want to leave. Overall a great place to stay."

"Enjoyed our last minute stay in an apartment room and actually extended it by 2 days as everything was just so easy and accessible. Staff were excellent, friendly, professional and very helpful with things even outside their remit. Hasna who works at reception in particular was such an asset to our stay and made our time at the hotel so easy and hassle free. Proximity to the airport, cafes, supermarket and restaurants (not in the media) is great. Pools, spa/jaccuzzi, etc. are good for the price. Food could be better but there are nearby options you can find using trip advisor. Would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something calm and relaxing that’s more than sufficient and very good value for money. "

"I booked this studio apartment at Agate for 5 nights as it was near the airport for work. When I contacted the management two days before check in I was told there was a problem with the apartment and that I would be moved somewhere else, they would only tell me when I arrived in Marrakech. When I arrived they gave me an address for the apartment which was a lot further away on a building site, all the other apartments were empty or still under construction including the swimming pool. The TV was not working and the WiFi was not working for the whole time I was there, I contacted the management but they failed to fix it. To cap it all off the taxi was double the normal rate (an extra €20 per day and I also had to buy a €30 esim for the data, a total of €130 I had to pay). Avoid this place at all costs."
