"Great staff Great rooftop"

"I understand that you get what you pay for but when I arrived my room smelled strongly of cigarettes, half of the furniture was falling apart, the trash from the previous person was still there, there was hair on the linens, and it didn’t even include toilet paper in the room. It looked nothing like the photos online. Staff was courteous and helpful but they also insisted we not leave the property with the room key, demanding we leave it at the front desk when leaving (which, to be fair, was staffed 24/7 - but no ID or anything was asked of me when I retrieved the key, so not the most secure system). Great location though!"

"Staff is very helpful, recommend good places to do currency exchange and to get laundry done. Housekeeping came every day and gave us fresh towels and made the bed. Only issue was with the shower wall not being very long, so there was a lot of water from the shower that wasn’t contained that got on the floor. The soap provided is a shampoo and body wash combined, would recommend bringing your own soaps in not interested in using that. The breakfast was amazing. Good assortment of fresh pastries to choose from, fresh fruit, yogurt, mini pancakes, eggs, and more. The location is great as well!"

"Staff were outstanding. Helpful and attentive. We received a free upgrade and our room was fit for a king, over looking the Forum. Roof top terrace is exceptional and breakfast was wonderful. The air conditioner struggled a bit but it’s a 600 year old building. Worth the stay and I would return any chance we get."

"This is a unique place to stay, well positioned between the main station, with ease of access to the airport, and the centre of the city and its attractions. It is almost like staying in your own Roman apartment, but with the help of a virtual reception (that becomes real in the mornings!). Our air conditioned room was clean and spacious, access via the keypads was flawless, and the extras (coffee machine, ease of leaving luggage on day of departure) eased our stay. There's a supermarket just downstairs if you wanted a little extra in the ways of food and drink and it is easy walking distances to countless excellent restaurants and bars. You are close to Metro or bus routes for going a little further afield. It is a great base for your Roman explorations."
