"I had a huge room, with two double beds and a small sofa and seating area. The bed and pillow were quite firm, which I like, but guests should be aware of their own preference.
The check-in experience was quick, scanning my passport into a machine, with staff on hand to help. You also had to check out with the machine, instead of just handing in your card to a drop-off box or to the staff there, which seemed a bit slower. Staff spoke English.
Amenities available in Reception included nightshirts (would probably fit up to a UK 16-18), various face creams, green tea and kelp tea sachets. Toothbrushes and mini toothpaste were available in the room.
There was a small Lawson's convenience store directly in the lobby, and a bigger 7-11 a few minutes down the road. There were also drink and ice cream vending machines and a microwave available.
The shuttle was a large coach with two staff members, which collected from stand 31-B outside Terminal 2 at Narita (it also collected and dropped off at Terminal 1). There were fixed times, with a note that if the bus was full earlier, the bus would leave. Guests should be aware that if they come at exactly the stated time, the coach may already be full.
I skipped breakfast to catch the shuttle I needed, but it was available from 6:30 and looked like buffet style."
