"My family agreed this is the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in! The staff was kind and professional. The room was comfortable and spacious-had a nice sitting area, very comfortable beds. The shower was luxurious. The laundry in the basement was set up next to a nice lounge area with complimentary snacks and drinks. It was about a 15 minute walk to major shopping, restaurants and Nishiki Market. I wished it was a little closer, but then getting to walk the side streets of Kyoto to get there was a wonderful experience too! "

"Great location with shops and dining options right below the hotel. Rooms were a good size and very clean with a convenient mini sofa and table to allow for a quick snack/meal grabbed from the 7-11 downstairs. A bit of a walk to the nearest metro ~8-10mins."

"The hotel Granvia in Kyoto is modern, clean and well organized. The staff is very nice, polite and helpful. The location is very convenient to do day trips from Kyoto. There is a good choice of restaurants in the hotel although they are very expensive. We could hear other guests from our room. The hotel is beautiful at night with light displays and a spectacular view of Kyoto Tower. I would go back anytime! "

"Clean, spacious and convenient property near train station. On site communal bath. Hotel breakfast had a lot of variety and was delicious. Great sushi restaurant downstairs which was very fresh. Will return. "

"Fantastic hotel in a prime location. 2nd time staying and I wasn’t disappointed. Friendly staff especially at the concierge desk who helped with information on a local festival happening during our stay. My only suggestion would to have ice machines for use rather than having to make the trek down to the lobby to get ice. "
