"Description states elevator, however if you’re staying on the 2nd floor & have a room 253 or above, you’re climbing another 1-1/2 flights of narrow winding stairs. And going to the 3rd floor and coming down does not work! The carpet is threadbare on the stairs. If you go to the breakfast after 9:15 the room is overly overly warm. This hotel should not be rated at 7.
This is the smallest room I have ever seen and it slanted.

"My partner and I travelled for three nights and stayed at the Amadeus hotel. We were afraid as it is pretty close to the train terminal and I had heard it was not a great location. but what a plus. Location was great. Wrong it was perfect! The staff was friendly and informative. The breakfast was exactly what we needed for a whole day out of touring. Many choices. Room was not too small for the standard room we chose and decor was as expected. Rooms looked better in person than in pictures. Bathroom was ok with plenty of hot water. They even provided a breakfast to the go because we checked out at 6:30 am. Wil recommend roe a short stay."
"Amazing place to stay, staff is super friendly, room was very nice and clean. Beatrice was able to provide us a room with the balcony it was amazing view on a Grand canal. Thank you guys, you are the best!"
"My husband and I stayed here in early September 2025. The manager of this Hotel Ala in Venice offered us a free private excursion to Murano by boat, for their guests only he said. But I wanted to warn people in advance of this... The boat left right from the back door of our hotel. We loved this. After the tour and showing us the glass display shops on Murano, we did not buy anything. Because of this, on the boat back, they dropped us off right at the first stop in Venice (driver would not take us back to the hotel when asked) and we had to walk 35 minutes in 90 degree heat, just to get back to our hotel. Instead of bringing us back to where they picked us up from. We were not told this ahead of time. It was supposed to be a tour to/from the hotel. We complained after to front desk, but they did not care. So be forewarned about "free" Murano tours. They should not be in the business of deceiving their guests."
