"It was a very nice hotel and a room, the bed was comfortable and it was very clean, including the hallway and lobby area. The only difficulty I had was that the staff did not speak any English so it was a little difficult since my Japanese skill is not great. The electricity in the room is turned on by putting the key in the wall, so at first it was a bit confusing because I missed that part of the explanation when I talked to the desk person when I checked in. "During a recent overnight trip to Universal Studios Japan, I stayed at The Park Front Hotel. While my check-in experience began with significant frustration, it was entirely salvaged by the exceptional service of two staff members, Morinaga and Soegami.
The room I booked online was described as a "Luxury Floor Deluxe City View Twin Room" that accommodates four people. However, upon arrival, the initial staff member insisted the room could only sleep two and that I would need to purchase an additional room to accommodate the third person in my party. This resulted in an unforeseen expense of over $500, which was particularly stressful given the tight schedule of my trip.
The situation was completely turned around when I returned to the hotel later that day and was assisted by Morinaga and Soegami. They graciously found a way to accommodate my party by downgrading my reservation to a room that could fit three people. I was more than happy with this solution and the minimal price difference. Their professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to find a solution were truly commendable, and I believe they should be recognized for their outstanding service.
The downgraded room was very nice, and the hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to restaurants, train stations, and the park. The staff in general were also very nice and friendly. Despite the initial check-in issue, the experience was saved by the staff's professionalism."
"We enjoyed 4 days in Kyoto at this amazing hotel located at Kyoto Station. This is a seriously impressive facility with several dining and shopping options within the hotel itself. As it is connected to the main Kyoto Station there are countless additional food and shopping options, as well as the convenience of being at the main station for the city.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was continuously restocked with water, coffee, tea, and touletry supplies if needed. The room was fabulous and, as expected, spotlessly clean. You cannot go wrong here if you are looking to stay in central Kyoto and want easy access to just about any shopping or dining experience."
"Lovely hotel in central Osaka. Namba is close to lord of attractions and the hotel is only 10min walk to the station.
Family room is a must if you have kids, with bunk beds looking out into Osaka and a door to separate the rooms it’s worth the upgrade.
Hotel staff were helpful and accommodating and great restaurants onsite as well as being close to a huge amount of other restaurants "
