" It was very a very comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, well stocked and quite adequate. The location in old quarters is so convenient, close to all the eateries, cafes, shopping etc. The staff, especially DA, Ann were very attentive, friendly and helpful. "We spent a great deal of time researching hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, and with so many options, it felt like a stressful decision. Ultimately, we chose L’Hotel du Lac based on its strong reviews and excellent location and we couldn’t have been happier with that choice. The staff (a special shoutout to Jolie) were exceptional, the rooms were comfortable and impressively quiet, and the breakfast was truly outstanding. Our trip to Vietnam lasted two weeks, beginning in Hanoi with a stay at L’Hotel du Lac. When we returned to Hanoi at the end of our trip, we had booked a different hotel to experience another part of the city. However, we quickly regretted that decision and spent much of our time wishing we had returned to L’Hotel du Lac instead. We highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again."

"Love the Peridot! The staff is so helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet and menu is incredible! The rooms are lovely, especially the ones with the balconies. A little small, but cozy. The rooftop pool/soaking tub and views are prime. And make a stop at the bar on your way up. The Peridot has everything you need for a perfect stay. "
