โA superb hotel, the views are phenomenal, staff are friendly and approachable. Lots of choice for food, buffet breakfast and an extensive menu for other meals. The room was clean and well stocked. โ
โReally lovely property. Cosy and welcoming. Beds were great. Lovely care package for us when we arrived.
Shower could do with renovation and the oven a clean (it wasn't horrendous) but we would happily book this place again โ

โA fantastic hotel in a great location. Easy to find with ample car parking at the rear. Warm welcome at reception and friendly efficient service. Room was immaculate and very well maintained. Great nightโs sleep, quiet location and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fab, staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and would happily stay there again. Thank you to all the staff at the Mayfield for a very comfortable stay.โ

โLovely place, beautiful food and a really nice room and ambience. But what really made this place was the wonderful warm staff.
The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful.

โThis were lovely rooms (we booked two, as there was a group of four of us) and they were identical, except one had a shower, the other a bath. They were spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. Staff were very helpful, it is worth noting they don't serve food on Sundays but we were guided to a local pub within five minutes walk as an alternative. โ
โLovely large victorian house with all the original detailing decorated beautifully our room 4 was very large ample storage and modern shower room rebecca was a fantastic host and the breakfast was brilliant we will be staying again โ

The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area .
Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough.
The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break.
We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer breakโ
