“My second stay at this hotel which pretty much mirrored the previous stay with a few more positives. I found a perfect parking spot just near the entrance and didn't want to give it up so I dined at the sports bar which was a wise decision as the food provided was top notch. My room was on the 2nd floor just around the corner from the leisure facilities which I took full advantage of using both the cardio equipment and weights. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). “This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.”
