Hilton Garden Inn San Jose Airport

"continental breakfast was overpriced for what was offered"

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Jose International Airport, CA

"This was about the third stay here for me. The first room was the best, it was clean and "felt" updated. Unfortunately I cant recall what room number it was. The last two stays were in room 210 and 213. I will make sure to request that I not get put in either of those rooms again as they are fairly drab and outdated...they need a facelift. The last room I was in had an ant problem...rogue ants (not a line of ants, just like random scouts. Tiny lone ants were scattered around the bathroom, I stopped counting after ten. Then I noticed two more on the desk. Thankfully they weren't in the bed. I kept my overnight bag and suitcase closed as I didn't want to take any hitchhikers home with me (I did let the front desk know in the morning). And lastly, in that same room... early in the morning, construction or repair was being done on the third floor above the bathroom ceiling...it was around 8AM...which some might not think was early, but I had checked in at 1AM, so that was WAY TOO early to hear constant pounding above your head. I couldn't believe they were actually allowed to start working that early. So, due to the ants and the early morning racket, this is one stay I'm not real happy about. But in general, I like this hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful and it's fairly clean and the rooms are clean and comfortable, also the lobby decaf is great! Breakfast is usually decent with a good variety of items to choose from. I will continue to stay here when I fly out of SJ."

Motel 6 – San Jose, CA - South
4/10 Poor
"The bathroom needed new everything. It was quite run down. Ned’s were uncomfortable and it was squishy for two people at the table area. Pet area was great. There seemed to be inadequate soundproofing between the 2 floors."

Four Points by Sheraton San Jose Downtown
6/10 Okay
"Not a very quite area for family’s with kids. Hotel representative at night was no help. Told us a total and then added more to it after we were told a certain amount. Hotel has very good potential but you can tell no one cares. Then charge hotel guest 42 bucks for a night of parking. Then charge the public 20 bucks to park in their parking lot. They are just money hungry."

Hyatt Place San Jose/Downtown

"This was in downtown San Jose. Easy to access from any direction. The hotel and the surrounding area was clean. It was next to the convention center. We checked in during weekend and the streets barely had cars in them. The staffs were friendly. Breakfast was nice with scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns, oatmeal, coffees, 3 varieties of milk, croissants, bagels, and pastries. The garage was accessible only to guests by elevator using the hotel card. To get the car in and out of the garage , you will have to go thru a huge commercial rolling door. Basically, no one can access that garage unless you are a guess or affiliated with the hotel. It cost me $45 for the 24-hour garage privileges. This parking fee was normal in that area. My $50 hotel deposit was credited back to my card the day after I checked out. Will come back again if I had a function to attend to in downtown San Jose."
