This place is amazing! We were glamping right next to the Puerto Rico Botanic Gardens. The tent was clean with an amazing private bathroom and a very nice bathtub! All the tents have a mini refrigerator, dishes and utensils, a microwave and a front porch. We had a great night listening to all the night creatures, like the coqui. There is a very nice pool. The owner was very helpful and nice. It includes a great breakfast with fresh fruit. There is a dog in the property that is super adorable!

The place is very nice and always clean. The location is the best for me. Walk to downtown old San Juan or get a cab. Condado, one of the best place in Puerto Rico. I have been visiting for over 20 years.

Everything was perfect.

ROOM SIX WAS ON THE FIRST FLOOR AND JUST 12 STEPS FROM THE BEAUTIFUL BEACH. THE ROOM WAS NOT LUXURIOUS, BUT IT WAS JUST FINE. THE RESTAURANT SERVED GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS IN THE AIR CONDITIONING OR OUTSIDE ON THE BEACH. STAFF WAS VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. IT IS FOUR BLOCKS FROM THE AIR CONDITIONED BUS TO THE OLD CITY, $1.50 FOR TWO. UBER IS AVAILABLE IN THE METRO AREA, QUICK TO ARRIVE AND 40% THE COST OF TAXIS. Property was great for kids! Had transportation to the beach and old San Juan. Was walking distance to T-mobile arena. Then Francisco makes the best drinks at the bar. (The chicken tenders are amazing)

Clean room, nice atmosphere and great customer service. Yara makes the best Piña Colada drinks. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent, will be back again. However there was fatalities with drownings in back of hotel off Condado beach, have to be extremely cautious with swimming due to waves, rip tides and under tow.

This is a very nice small boutique hotel in a super location to experience Old San Juan. A good part of the charm is the city itself loaded with historical sites, great eateries, shops and bars and the Villa Herencia is right in the middle of all this. Not only is a car not needed but is probably a handicap and unnecessary expense as parking and driving the old city streets is a challenge. I just returned from an 8 day stay on the island, and all I can say is that I did not want to return. I wish I knew of this location a long time ago. The manager and owner are incredible people and hosts. The place is amaizing and they make you feel at home. It’s a block away from the beach and close to old San Juan. The cost is amazing. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to have a pleasant stay on the island. ( Thumbs up ) !!!!!!

The staff members at this location were wonderful! Front desk, pool / beach security, pool attendants, our floor attendant Jessica all were so very kind and helpful with everything on our 4 day stay. The hotel is located right on the beach, next to many delicious restaurants and so close to the airport and Old San Juan. Beautiful beach and pool. We stayed in an Ocean View room and the views were spectacular. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

This was the best stay that I’ve ever stayed at. It is right on the beach. The hotel rooms are perfect and even though the restaurants are expensive, they are pretty good. The bar at the pool is amazing but only open certain days

People at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. The property itself is great with great location. Amazing atmosphere and spacious and the rooms are nice. The staff at the restaurant was not smiling and not really friendly. The only person who was nice and accommodating was the manager. The rest of the servers were just food delivers.

The Doubletree was a great hotel. The 24 hour market across the street, nearby beach and multiple restaurants on the area were all a plus. There’s an on-site restaurant that I didn’t try but seemed to have a constant flow of customers throughout my stay so I’ll assume it’s good lol. Let me first qualify that I very rarely, if ever, write reviews. Just not my style. But this placed deserves my time to explain. Super awesome hotel with friendly staff! Ignore all the previous reviews that complained about the rundown neighborhood. PR was hit by the devastating Hurricane Maria and is slow to recover. You see empty buildings damaged by the hurricane quite often and they are by no means indications of the sketchiness of the neighborhood. We woke up each morning to an amazing panoramic view of the water. The beaches were easily accessible, the touristy beach across the street and the mellower just 1/2 block away.
