"Our room was located close to the stairs and elevator and the fire door was very loud and people were active through the night which interfered with restful sleep."

"The hotel was beautiful and in a great section of San Juan close to cruise pier. The only thing wrong was checkin in was at 4pm and we got there at that time and couldn’t check in till 6pm. They then gave us a $21. refit to use at the hotel which we were leaving next day on a cruise"

"Rooms weren’t ready at time of check in, there was no cold water in the sink, front desk (weirdly on second floor instead of immediately walking in at front door) ran out of stickers to validate parking and still charged the card on file for parking even though we paid at the station. Called the number for the hotel and reached a corporate number who told us they wouldn’t refund us for parking because we “weren’t overcharged” and then transferred us to the hotel that won’t answer. Would not recommend this hotel."

"I had reserved two rooms and had called the hotel directly the week prior to request that the rooms be on the same floor if not next to one another and at check in, I was given keys for one and told that the second had to be cleared by housekeeping and that I would be notified soon. 2 hours later, when I went to check on the status, I was told "you already checked in" and when I said I don't have my keys to the second room, I was given a room 2 FLOORS AWAY from the original room and was told there was nothing that could be done until days later... you would think that if I am requesting rooms on the same reservation and with the call that they would at least put them on the same floor! "

"This hotel was in a great location and has a beautiful view. We booked the bi-level premium suite and really expected it to blow us away for the price. It was nice, but very dated. The carpet was old (and still wet on the stairs when we first arrived), you need two people to open the sliding glass doors on the balcony, the pictures show a sink in the kitchenette but there isn't one, and the refrigerator was one of the smallest ones I've seen. The tiles were cracked in the master shower, and the hot water heater is bipolar. In the morning you can barely cut it on before it burns you, but by the afternoon, you can't get it hot at all. I didn't notice when booking that there is an additional $50 per day resort fee that will be added to your bill. Unlike most Hiltons, you also do not receive a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast buffet is $35 per person. There are a good variety of restaurants on site, but they are also pricey. There are several local restaurants around that are great quality and more affordable, but we were told that we couldn't bring any outside food to the pool area. They literally check your bookbag every time you go to the pool for glass, speakers, and outside food. The first 2 being understandable, but this means you are stuck ordering off their poolside menu that includes a $24 burger and $20 grilled chicken sandwich. There are plenty of chairs which was nice compared to some resorts. Overall, we had a great time, but I wouldn't rebook at this hotel. "

"Check-in was smooth with a familiar staff member, but the room disappointed this stay: the bathroom wasn’t clean or fresh, and no ironing board was provided. Getting water at 3 a.m. was inconvenient, and morning desk service felt rude. Not as before."

"As reserved, the room was simple and clean. It had a nice mattress and very comfortable sheets. The A/C was very good though I barely needed it. I appreciated the water bottles left in my room daily. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. Two minor things bugged me. In the shower there was no where to place my toiletries on a hook or shelf and the shower was a little tight to keep bending down to pick the bottles off the floor. "

"The hotel was amazing. I loved my room, i didnt realize id have a cute little balcony watching over the cruise ships in the distance! What i loved most was Mindy! She was amazing. I needed something printed out and a came down at like 9:40pm. First off Mindy remembered my name, i was so surprised. Then her printer wasnt working, but she did everything necessary to make sure i got my paperwork. She ended up having to go to the hotel across the street to get their email and print it over there. I appreciate her so much for that. And this all took place right before she was suppose to clock out i felt so bad. But she got it done!! Love you Mindy <3 ill definitely be back to this hotel "
