"Front desk was not hospitable . She seemed to be trying to be nice. When I arrived she said my room wasn’t ready but she could give me another. I asked what the difference in rooms was and she said no difference. So I asked, what would my room that is “not ready” have different from the one that’s ready. She laughed and said nothing. So, then why say my room is not ready???
As I agreed on getting the room that was ready she then handed me keys. I stood there for like 3 min waiting for her to say something like, welcome or here is a bit of helpful information about our hotel.
She said nothing…
I stood there and then after 3 minutes she looked at me and said, do you need something?
I said, am I done? She laughed and said ya!
Very passive-aggressive.
When I checked out. I waited in the lobby for 3-4 min for someone to come help. One of the cleaning ladies ended up opening a door in which someone was just chilling in and she said to him, you have people outside waiting for you. By this time there were 3 of us in line.
Overall I feel front desk needs training on hospitality."
