โQuietly tucked away on the outskirts of Portland. River view rooms are great and there is a walking/running/biking path along the river. Close to OSHU. โ
โThere were a lot of people in the hotel so kind of busy, and also hallway was little bit smelly Due to thrown away trash in the trashcan next to the elevator. However, the hotel itself was very nice. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious.โ
โLots of great food options in walking distance of.the hotel. The building has a historic feel, but has been well maintained. The staff are very attentive and helpful. โ
โWonderful stay - perfect for our multi-generational "girl's trip." The staff was responsive and friendly, parking was easy and convenient, neighborhood was quiet but close to lots of restaurants. I won't stay anywhere else if I'm visiting Portland. โ
โEasy access to everything. And the best part is there is parking! The Jupiter is the same expectations, but has no parking. Being a local and having stayed at both places, this is the best bang for your buck. On my mudda! โ
โWe really enjoyed the Moxy. Employees at the front desk at check in did a great job. The room was on the 11 floor. We heard it can be noisy, but being up that high, I guess, we didn't experience it. Loved the corner room with ceiling to floor windows and a comfy bed. My only complaint is that there was no housekeeping in our room. We were out of the room all day and I had expected the bed to be made when we got back. This was not the case. I'm unsure if you have to request it. It says...
โSpacious, pristine interior, thoughtful room design and amenities. Itโs in a quiet area, but easily walkable to a bustling neighborhood and mass transit. Stay includes laundry.
It was an extremely comfortable place to rest and be.
*highly recommend* โ
"The location is excellent. Overall, the staff are friendly. The rooms are spacious and decent, but they do not meet the high-end quality I imagined when booking. It's an average hotel, but it has a few drawbacks.
Firstly, it was listed as offering free breakfast, but instead of an actual free breakfast, they provide a credit that can be used like a voucher for the total amount. The breakfast itself is not great for the price, so it doesnโt seem worth selecting. Additionally, there is no bathtub in the bathroom, which is a disappointing omission.
The tap water is also quite murky. They claim itโs mineral water, but it just looks dirty. Being sensitive, I also experienced minor skin irritation after using the water.
The pool and fitness center are somewhat small but usable. This hotel is $40โ50 more expensive than others, and I booked it for the pool and breakfast as its advantages, but they werenโt particularly necessary, as the experience is ultimately similar to other hotels.
It wasnโt a bad experience, but Iโll likely try other hotels next time."
