"The staff member who booked us in was rude about parking cost and added breakfast I thought the hotel was extremely overpriced £12 parking £18 breakfast each 3 rounds of drinks £15 per round so will not be staying there again when we go back to southampton in september The water in the fridge should have been informed it was complementary and not enough coffee sugar and milk"

"We checked in late and were given a room on the 7th floor which is not served by the main lifts but by a conveluted walk along the 6th floor corridor and stair to the 7th floor. The room had a dog basket and two bowls on the floor from the previous Tennant. Both of these issues should have been made clear to me during reservation/check in. The air conditioning was the quietest I have ever experienced."

"Was very clean, and was given a room with a window I could see the planes. As others have stated, was very quiet despite the airport location. Close to the train station, about 20 mins by train to central London. There are a few shops close by, but only 2 restaurants that trick you into leaving a tip, so that wasn't so great. There was a Wetherspoons but their prices were a lot more than the Wetherspoons in Cardiff, so airport prices are higher than outside the airport. Best part was easy access to my flight. The only down side was the shower had no curtain or glass so the water goes everywhere in the bathroom! The TV had trouble getting some reception, and when I discussed with staff, it was fixed and my heating seemed to work better at the same time, weirdly enough. Due to the room's size, one or two nights is best. Free coffee was supplied which was a nice touch, in a special coffee room near the elevator."
