“Excellent service and hospitality as always”

“Business trip. Nice stay nice pub nice staff although and I booked this B&B on the reviews I read (only the top 4 when viewing) if I had seen more reviews on the fact that they didn't do breakfast unless you book directly with them I would of chosen somewhere else. Also noted when leaving/checking-out the property you do so via the night entrance which the stairs down are very steep and you must be very careful if you have heavy or a large case with you. All that being said I did enjoy my stay.”

“Check in - quick and efficient. Room - great space, tastefully furnished, great size bathroom with excellent shower. Breakfast - fantastic choice, cooked to perfection. Pub - great pub which was busy, with a spacious beer garden Staff - everybody was friendly and accommodating. The guy managing breakfast was really good and welcoming. “Lovely room and amazing shower. A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. Comfortable bed but I didn’t sleep well due to the light issue unfortunately ”

“We stayed here for two nights while attending a service at the church. The owners are charming and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was adequate for the two nights, we found it difficult to maintain the heat balance in the room and it was fairly chilly in the pub , the good food and atmosphere made up for this. ”

“The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process.”

“What a great find! Super comfortable and very clean. The host was fabulous- really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. This is definitely a place we will stay again and we would recommend it to anyone who needs somewhere cosy and clean to stay.”

“House was clean and tidy, ample room for a couple in room #2. Bed was soft and comfortable for one night. Host was very friendly and welcoming, we unfortunately didn’t get chance to try the homemade breakfast as we had to check out early. Cons: host was not there to greet us upon arrival and so the neighbour/tenant had to check us in. Location can be hard to find. Look for the flag at the end of the road - gravel driveway.”
