"We really enjoyed our stay at Marumi Hotel Tokyo Asakusa. The room was very clean and, compared to all the other hotels we stayed at during our trip to Japan, it was surprisingly spacious. It was nice to have a little extra room to relax and organize our luggage.
The staff were always present, friendly, and helpful. They were especially helpful when we had questions about arranging luggage transportation to our next hotel in Kyoto, which made that part of our trip much easier.
The location was also very convenient. There was a laundry just around the hotel, which was really helpful during our trip, and there were several restaurants nearby that stayed open late, so it was easy to find something to eat even after a long day of sightseeing. There was also a scooter/bike rental spot right outside the building that you could use through the LUUP app, which was another convenient option for getting around.
The only minor drawbacks for us were the toiletries. The shampoo, conditioner, and body soap made my scalp and skin feel a little dry. The toilet paper was also quite thin, although I'm not sure if that's common in bathrooms throughout Japan.
Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and really appreciated the cleanliness, spacious room, helpful staff, and convenient location. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Tokyo."
